We know that many of you will have been affected by travel restrictions and, as the hospitality business begins to re-open, you might be looking for extra reassurance when booking that long overdue stay.

We would like to welcome you to The Frenchgate Restaurant & Hotel in the knowledge that the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is always our priority.

It is our mission to go above and beyond the ever changing strict government guidelines.

You will notice some changes, some obvious and clearly visible, others less so, as we do all we can to keep both our guests and staff safe.

Given the need for changes please be reassured and understand that you will continue to receive the usual warm welcome, exemplary, personal service our reputation has been built on over the past 16 years.

Flexible Opening

We are currently working on opening all services at the earliest opportunity, but only when we can do so safely, and when the time is right. For now our famed small dining room will be closed except for breakfast, so no lunch or dinner service, sorry, and we will focus 100% on providing our full breakfast service for guests staying on a Bed & Breakfast basis only.

*NB Important to remember ALL our rates, including special offers, when booked direct with us, INCLUDE a full Yorkshire Breakfast unlike those found on booking.com and other third party sites!

We invite you to come and relax in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, secure in the knowledge that we will be extra attentive in the coming weeks.
